Frequently Asked Architectural Questions
How does the electricity and utility meter calculation work in Real Estate Pro?
For each unit, you configure the calculation type (meter-based, fixed, or manual) and the rate per unit. Each billing period, simply enter the current meter reading. The system calculates units consumed (Current - Previous), multiplies by rate, adds fixed/other charges, and generates the bill.
Can tenants view their historical bills and receipts directly?
Yes. Renters have access to the dedicated Tenant Portal (`/me`), where they can view active lease terms, upcoming dues, itemized utility charges, and download formal payment receipts at any time.
Is data strictly isolated between different real estate property owners?
Absolutely. All queries in the backend are strictly scoped to the authenticated owner's credentials via Clean Architecture repository layers. No owner can ever query or view another landlord's data.
